- Rev. Saigo is married and has two daughters. He received a BA in Biblical
studies with a minor in Biblical Language studies from Asbury College. He received Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, and his Master of Theology in Old Testament Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary. He also completed the two-year course work for the Ph. D. program in
Old Testament at Drew University with good academic standing. However, due to ministerial demands he decided
to take leave of absence in 1996.
- He has started two Japanese churches in the States: one in Princeton, NJ in 1991, and another right outside New York City in 1996. He also pastored for ten years in Japan before coming to the
States, and was involved in two major interdenominational campaigns in
Japan as an assistant to the general secretary of those campaigns ('80
and '82).
